coming up this weekend at the Expo center is the Knoxville Comic and Anime con on June 26 and 27th.  The email site is comiccity@comcast.net.  Haven't heard of this yet but it's only $5 to get in.

I went.  Lotsa anime stuff, lotsa kids dressed like anime characters.  Comic books, action figures, posters, the usual stuff.  Dick Warlock didn't show up.  C. Martin Croker was there (voice of Zorak from Space Ghost).  My  writer pal Bobby Nash was there, he's a cool guy & writes some great stuff like the comic, 'Fuzzy Bunnies From Hell.'

Teeny-tiny little con.  But who cares really, it gave me something to do for two days, I enjoyed it!   Grin
