Byron Cherry- Coy Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard

Who the heck? I really don't remember this character. Is this when Schneider & Wopat had contract disputes and sat out the season?

Coy Duke?  Jeez, they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Yeah, it's the "lost" season.  Cousins Coy and Vance came in and filled the shoes of Bo and Luke for a season.

Amber Smith, she's one of those celebrity crack-heads, right?

Wonder how many of these guests will actually show up?

Why do I care?

If a celebrity is a jerk, I won't buy an autograph.  Why give him/her money for being a D-bag?

I'm with ya RJ. As long as Ad Con is in Pigeon Forge at the start of tourist season, I will not be attending.

Wish I could send a probe droid to scope out the con beforehand.

Im planning on being there this year, we have always enjoyed it. We really dont come for the guest selection but more to look at toys and costumers. I have a question about hotel accommodations if anyone can help me. I was planning on booking a room at the Grand Resort Hotel for the convenience of it, less driving. I was googlin' the hotel to get a phone # and came across these reviews:

http://maps.google.com/maps/place?cid=8512561683685135706&q=grand+resort+hotel+convention+center+pigeon+forge&hl=en&gl=us&view=feature&mcsrc=detailed_reviews&num=10&start=50

Can anyone tell me from hear say or experience if the hotel is anything like what those reviews say? Thanks to anyone that can help me.

Hey, if anyone does attend, I hope you'll post a review & some photos here.

I just can't handle that traffic.  Roll Eyes

To those that go, I hope you have a great time! As for me, I will not be attending while it's in the G'burg/Pigeon Forge area. I'm with RJ, do not want to deal with the traffic!

Well, you didn't miss much.  Way overpriced.  Alot of celebs decided to charge $20-$25 for an autograph and an additional $20 for a picture with them.  Needless to say I missed out on alot of pictures.  Billy Dee Williams was in a better mood than last time.  He still charged $40 for an autograph ($42 for one with a certificate of authenticity).  Very low turn out also.  About half the crowd than usual.  Other than Billy Dee Williams, Jake Lloyd and James Best I really didn't see anything else drawing people.  Lots of celebs sitting and staring at empty booths.  Not worth it.
